That's what I'm reading at the moment, and it's pretty damn good. Like, I dunno, Dickens isn't my favorite or anything but it's good reading and way more fun than anything else I've read by him. What is annoying though is the way he writes the cockney accent. Especially switching up the v's and the w's. Reading "wery good sir" is starting to get OLD. But I loves the characters lots, I actually really like Sam despite the accent.
Oh, and it's really long. Long is good, because I've got just HOURS of breastfeeding ahead of me and I go through books so freaking fast it's disgusting. Last week I reread Mr. Midshipman Hornblower in one day. The Pickwick Papers is seven hundred and some odd pages long. I've been at it for 3 days aleady and am still less than halfway through.
This leaves my LJ in rather an odd place doesn't it? I don't want to be redundant in my posting. I guess I'll just have to come up with enough blog material to fill 2 LJs and a vox. Huzzah!
